SS Carrier was founded in 2014 in Dallas, Texas as a family owned and operated business built on 25+ years of experience. We are an asset-based full truckload carrier specialized in providing expedited dry freight throughout 48 states. Our dedicated dispatch team provides around the clock support, rain or shine, to both our valued customers and hard working drivers. As a customer, we provide you with complete visibility of your freight, from pick-up to delivery, and every mile in between – ensuring you always know where your shipment stands. With a dedicated in-house maintenance team, our experienced mechanics ensure our equipment is well maintained to minimize over-the-road breakdowns which can cause costly delays. Our 5,000+ square ft. warehouse centrally located in Dallas, TX allows us to provide our shippers with customized pickup and delivery options with cross-docking, load reworking, and short-term storage capabilities in addition to on-demand transportation capacity.
SAFETY
Safe operations take precedence over any other objective at SS Carrier. Thorough training, retraining and a state-of-the-art driving simulator, enables us to ensure driver safety. In addition, we use rigorous screening techniques, including drug/alcohol screening, criminal background checks, and medical reviews. Through our exceptional corrective counseling, we will do everything in our power to keep our staff and our family of drivers safe. We won’t ask any driver to endanger themselves or anyone else to pick up or deliver outside what they are legally allowed to do. Safety is not limited to the highway; we also utilize extensive safety systems for our maintenance and office environments.
